Service Description

Get a clearer picture of what’s going on behind the scenes. This combined blood test checks key hormones that play a vital role in your menstrual cycle, fertility, and overall hormonal balance. It’s especially helpful if you’re experiencing irregular periods, struggling to conceive, or simply want to understand more about your body’s hormonal rhythms. The panel includes: • LH (Luteinising Hormone) • FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone) • Prolactin • Oestradiol (Estrogen) Each one offers insight into a different piece of the puzzle: Hormone What it tells you LH Ovulation patterns, signs of PCOS, and how well your pituitary gland is functioning. FSH Ovarian reserve, menopausal transition, and ovarian health. Prolactin Possible reasons for missed periods or fertility challenges, including pituitary issues. Oestradiol Estrogen levels, ovarian function, and menopause status. This panel is often requested ahead of assisted conception or fertility treatment planning. When to test: • For LH, FSH, and Oestradiol: Ideally on Day 3 of your cycle (Day 1 is the first full day of bleeding). • For Prolactin: In the morning, when fasting and feeling calm, as stress or stimulation can temporarily raise levels.
