Genesafe complete
Service Description
What is the Genesafe Complete test? Available from 10 weeks into pregnancy (calculated from the first day of your last period), this non-invasive blood test offers an advanced look at your baby’s health — using a simple blood sample from the mother. From around 5 weeks of pregnancy, small fragments of your baby’s DNA begin circulating in your bloodstream. By 10 weeks, there’s enough present to allow accurate, high-specificity testing — giving you the clarity and confidence you need at this early stage. This test offers a deeper look than standard screening. It combines insights into both inherited and de novo (new, non-inherited) mutations — offering a more complete picture of your baby’s genetic risk. It screens for 44 serious genetic conditions linked to new mutations across 25 key genes, without increasing risk to you or your baby. A reassurance scan is also included, giving you both vital insight and peace of mind.
